October 1, 2020 Ann Arbor, MI: The officers and directors of Exchange Capital Management, Inc. are pleased to announce that Andrew Stewart, CFA, CAIA has been installed as a new equity partner. Stewart will continue to serve as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer.

“Not only does Andy hold a commanding knowledge of portfolio management and investment strategy, he exemplifies servant leadership,” said Michael Reid, CFA President of Exchange Capital Management. “We are thrilled to have such an experienced and analytical individual step into a principal role with the firm.”

Stewart brings over a decade of investment experience to his new role. After joining Exchange Capital Management in 2017 as a Senior Portfolio Manager, Stewart took on the role of Chief Investment Officer in early 2020. He continues to dedicate himself to the development of the firm, our clients, and his colleagues. As Chief Investment Officer, Stewart leads the portfolio management team, overseeing all trading and investment initiatives. He also serves as Chair to the Investment Committee.

Stewart holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations, a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He lives in Huntington Woods with his wife and daughter.
